Be Club Lifestyle Hub: Where creativity and community thrive

At the heart of every thriving creative community is a space where people feel safe to express their creativity, find other people with similar interests, and maybe collect something cute, pretty, or quirky.

Be Club Lifestyle Hub, where we celebrate YOU!

Be Club Lifestyle Hub provides that space in the form of cozy, lovingly curated hangouts that invite people to pause, create, and connect.

Be Club has been building something special—an ongoing conversation around mindfulness, creativity, and community.

To celebrate getting to attend three of their hangouts as their leafy little pop-up buddy and seeing their workshops, let’s relive those events and why you should try experiencing one yourself!

A Slow Saturday at the Playback Room

Held last June 23 and intended as a mindful pause to hustle culture, A Slow Saturday offered a softer way to spend a weekend afternoon. Guests were encouraged to browse art pieces, books for sale and swapping, Playback Room’s unique furniture pieces, and a variety of carnivorous plants from yours truly while enjoying signature beverages and pastries from Wicked Coffee.

This was where I set up Fyukinta’s first pop-up booth, and where I had my first intimate workshop. Attendees and I dove deep into carnivorous plant care, and I was more than happy to share planty stories of fascination, first times, and inevitable laziness while covering all the basics and more. Notes were taken, questions were asked, and plants were taken home!

The event also featured an introduction to embroidery, where Dan from by.tinyleaf guided participants in learning basic stitches through kits that let them start their own small projects. Some folks instead enjoyed the Book Nook and Silent Reading corner, or a mindful journaling session that offered access to an Art Bar. Paid participants also had the added perk of enjoying complimentary drinks as well as yummy pastries from @bysunrise.ph and @bakepertise.

Even though the weather was wet, the vibes were warm, and the community even warmer. Playback Room felt like a second home, thoughtfully decorated by unique pieces that you could purchase in case they caught your eye.

A Sprinkle of Creativity at Kohi Kurabu

The second event, A Sprinkle of Creativity, was a comfy, colorful Saturday afternoon spent in Kohi Kurabu last July 12. Be Club transformed the cozy café into a creative playroom for adults filled with art supplies for a charm painting workshop led by @parbangon_art, cute stickers for journaling (and a peek at her lovely spreads) by @rarejournals, adorable live portraits by @xaidraws, beautiful fresh blooms from @dalagan, and bug-eating plants by this chatty plantita.

Be Club also opened this event for pop-up buddies, allowing small businesses to showcase and sell their art, services, and goods with fellow creatives. This meant visitors got to do a bit of shopping while hanging out with a group of chill folks and one happy pupper, @dearsushi_ the shihtzu!

On top of being a space to earn, this event turned into a space to make new friends among peers and like-minded individuals. As much as I loved cuddling sweet Sushi, I had a blast chatting with other pop-up buddies about random things (including my plants, which I was so happy to know people found fascinating too). We all got a little icebreaker before we officially opened, where we introduced ourselves and our businesses. It’s not often you can find such an inspiring community that offers a welcome as warm as Be Club’s.

Was it any surprise that I was eager to join the next event I could?

The Art and Heart Hangout at Eastwood

The next event was a day of warm vibes and activities right in the heart of Eastwood! The Art and Heart Hangout gathered creatives and journaling enthusiasts for two cozy hangouts.

Visitors could browse the colorful wares from Be Club’s growing pop-up buddy community, featuring a fun Montessori playspace by @avalonplayzone, beautiful dried flowers by @girlandherlove, gorgeous watercolor flower and even fish art and stickers by @suffnirain, relatable journaling stickers and sheets by @rarejournals, live portraits and cute sticker merch by @xaidraws31, and adorable charms you could customize your own keychains or bracelets with by @_littlebead_.
.

First was a Journaling Hang Out led by Rovie of @rarejournals, who shared prompts and tips to inspire the mindset of putting memories to spreads with cute stickers and doodles. It was a fun workshop that allowed participants to relax, reflect, and either create another memory for seasoned journal pros or simply start out with curated kits.

The second event was a casual creative chat with experienced artists from Studio Art Fix and Be Club, where they shared their wisdom and stories to inspire the desire to create. In chill Be Club fashion, the workshop also featured time for participants to work on their own projects, whether they brought their own or chose to create collages using Studio Art Fix materials.

Both hangouts featured cute and colorful freebies from @notesbynuni@designviaph, @roisartss, and Be Club, as well as a free drink or snack from sponsoring partners.

What set this particular event apart from the previous ones though was the sheer number of things participants could actually enjoy, such as the Great Sticker Swap Sesh, which happened between workshops and featured cute and colorful stickers up for grabs, Be Club’s stamp rally, featuring pieces by @parbangon_art as prizes, and all the collectible goods and cool services from the pop-up buddy community.

This time, I didn’t have any plants to sell—but it was where I debuted as a Be Club community partner and offered discount coupons to visitors, brand ambassadors, and fellow pop-up buddies (which I definitely will be again at the next North event!).

I did have some plants for display though, and I’m proud to share that all Be Club visitors will get to enjoy 20% off an order from the Fyukinta’s Flants online shop using our discount code!

Nurture your creativity with Be Club Lifestyle Hub

Be Club began with two amazing individuals with a passion for creating: Wiess La Guardia and Dawn Balangue, creative entrepreneurs with a combined two decades of experience in art and event planning. They envisioned Be Club as an inclusive space for anyone looking for a more fulfilling, balanced lifestyle, made up of artists and educators. It’s where slowing down is celebrated, and the community feels like a second home.

They do just that by offering a variety of thoughtful workshops with collaborations with partner venues, as well as people development programs with personalized coaching and group training. They also offer branding and social media marketing services through Be Club Creatives, helping businesses brainstorm and bring their vision to life. With every event they hold, people are invited to pause, reconnect, and simply be.

Now, as a team of wonderful, like-minded individuals, Be Club dreams of becoming the most beloved community lifestyle hub around, fostering deep, joyful connections, inspiring personal growth, and nurturing a vibrant culture where creativity is free-flowing and rest is embraced. They’re on a mission to curate and deliver more than a hundred high-quality, impactful workshops, events, and initiatives, reaching 1500 individuals—and I’m lucky to be a part of it.

If you’re just hearing about Be Club now, one thing’s for sure: this is a community that grows in good company.
